How To Reheat Pizza In An Air Fryer
OK, so we’ve all been there. We got too excited and carried away when placing our pizza order and bought far more than we could possibly hope to eat in one sitting. So, we pop the leftovers in the fridge and think, “I’ll deal with you tomorrow!”
Good news! Now it’s tomorrow. We open up our fridge and all we can see is last night’s pizza staring back at us. Now comes the question, do I reheat this in the oven or the microwave? In fact, the right answer is in an air fryer!
Reheat Pizza In Microwave
This seems like a good idea because let’s face it, we’re hungry now! We don’t want to wait 15 mins for the oven to heat up, just for the sake of 1 or 2 slices. The microwave seems quick and easy. So, we submit to the mercy of our hunger and suffer through the gooey mess that is microwave pizza.
Reheat Pizza In Oven
OK, so we know that facing that gooey mess just isn’t an option for us. We love pizza too much to betray it in that fashion. We whack the oven on as high as it will go, praying that this means it will heat up quicker. It doesn’t by the way! We wait, and we wait, and we wait. Meanwhile, our stomachs are literally shouting at us. Until eventually, success! The oven is finally hot even to reheat our pizza. So, we put it in for a few minutes and gobble it down just in time.
Reheat Pizza In Air Fryer
Reheating in the air fryer is by far the best way to go. It gives you the best of both worlds, the speed of the microwave without all the stodge.
First things first, we are going to need to preheat our air fryer. I know, it’s terrible, but unlike an oven, an air fryer will be ready to reheat within a couple of minutes, not 20. So, it’s still a win! Preheat to 320 degrees Fahrenheit or 160 degrees Celsius.
Place your pizza slices in your air fryer basket, making sure they lay flat. You should never stack pizza for reheating. Simply cook for 3-4 minutes for thin crust or 5-6 minutes for something chunkier. And there you have it! Perfectly reheated pizza in well under 10 minutes. You have still got the crispy base from the oven without all that waiting.
